Stefanie Aring is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She previously worked as an ICU nurse for 5 years, and has loved the transition into primary care. She enjoys being able to positively impact patient’s lives and help them become healthier through empowering patients with knowledge. She particularly enjoys pediatric patients and is continuing her medical education by studying functional medicine. She approaches patients as a whole and tries to get to the root cause of their diseases, rather the focusing on individual parts. She then works with patients to come up with a plan that is achievable for each individual patient. She believes medicine is unique to each person, and that there is not a one size fits all when it comes to options for treating various ailments.
Stefanie is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Stefanie obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing at The University of South Alabama and her B.S. in Biology as well as her BN in Nursing at Seattle University. When Stefanie is not working, she enjoys anything outdoors, sports, and traveling. She plays on several soccer teams and gets out hiking, camping, backpacking, snowshoeing, etc., almost every weekend with her husband and rambunctious dog. She has traveled to over 30 countries and hopes to travel to at least 30 more! She also enjoys gardening, cooking, and trying to come up with new, delicious recipes.
